12mm M12 Lens for sensors up to 1/2.5" such as OX05B1S

The CIL123 is an IR corrected 12.5mm M12 lens for 1/2.5" sensors, resolving 3–5MP at 2.2μm pixel pitch. It gives you a 34° field of view across the 7.2mm image circle, which is tight enough for surveillance and outdoor monitoring without moving to a bulkier lens family. At $29, it also gives you IR correction at a price point that makes sense for cost-sensitive builds.

Distortion is -0.3% F-Theta, so the image stays straight enough for measurement work and cleaner video feeds. The IR correction keeps visible and near-IR wavelengths on the same focal plane, which matters if a day and night camera uses sensors like the OX05B1S. That means the system does not need to refocus when illumination changes from visible light to NIR.

The lens uses all-glass elements in an AL6061 aluminum barrel and weighs 5g. That material set handles temperature swings better than low-cost plastic-heavy lenses, so it is a safer choice for parking structures, perimeter cameras, and agricultural systems that live outdoors. You are still buying a compact M12 lens, but you are not buying the cheapest mechanical build in the category.

You can order CIL123-F2.3-M12A650 with the 650nm IRC filter for daylight or CIL123-F2.3-M12ANIR for NIR applications. The lens fits FLIR Blackfly S, Allied Vision Alvium, iDS uEye LE, The Imaging Source, and Basler Dart cameras, while e-con Systems boards need a 10–13mm tall holder.
