The CIL027 has -1.5% TV distortion measured at 4:3 aspect ratio. That is low enough for barcode reading, dimensional measurement, and machine vision inspection without software distortion correction.
What is the CIL027 field of view on a 1/2.3 inch sensor?
100 degrees horizontal on a 1/2.3 inch sensor at the 6.3mm image circle. The usable image circle extends to 7.4mm, with 9.0mm maximum.
What lens holders are compatible with the CIL027?
The recommended mount is the Commonlands CLA018-LCP with 18mm hole spacing. For e-con Systems boards, use a 9–13mm tall holder. FLIR Blackfly S, Allied Vision Alvium, iDS uEye XLS, TIS, and Basler Dart are all mechanically compatible.
Does the CIL027 come with an IR cut filter?
Two options: CIL027-F2.8-M12A650 includes a 650nm IR cut filter for daylight use. CIL027-F2.8-M12ANIR ships without a filter for NIR-sensitive applications.
