Tiny M7 Lens for up to 1/2.9" sensors such as GC2093

The CIL716 is a 2.2mm wide-angle M7 lens for 1/3" to 1/2.9" sensors like the GC2093. At 0.9g and 10.5mm x 10.5mm, this is one of the smallest lenses Commonlands makes. If your project has a hard size constraint and you need 160° field of view in an M7x0.35 thread, the CIL716 is the lens to evaluate first.

F/3.8 fixed aperture is slower than typical M12 wide-angles, which limits low-light performance. Plan accordingly if your application runs in dim environments. The +8% F-Theta distortion produces a mild pincushion effect that actually works in your favor for surveillance and doorbell camera applications where edge stretching helps fill the frame. The 6.3mm image circle covers 1/2.9" sensors at 1MP resolution. Hybrid glass/plastic optical elements in an AL6061 aluminum barrel. No ingress protection rating, so this lens is intended for indoor or enclosed applications. Available only with 650nm IR cut filter as CIL716-F3.8-M07A650.

Mechanical compatibility is limited by the M7 thread. The Commonlands CLA718 M7 lens holder with 18mm spacing mounts it directly. iDS uEye LE Rev1.1 works; Rev1.2 requires ordering the PN ending in "C-NO". Allied Vision, FLIR, and Basler cameras use M12 threads and are not compatible. Contact The Imaging Source for their M7 options.
