6mm C-Mount lens : Wide Angle C-Mount Lens for 1.85um pixels such as IMX226

The CIL561 is a 6mm C-mount lens with an adjustable iris from F/2.4 to F/16 for 1/1.7" sensors up to 12MP at 1.85μm pixel pitch. It gives you a 76° field of view across a 9.3mm image circle, which is a useful middle ground between broad coverage and manageable distortion. That balance makes the lens easier to live with for inspection and quality control than a 4mm option when geometry still matters.

Distortion is -2%, so many measurement and label-reading systems can use the image without software correction. Sensors like the Sony IMX226 and ON Semiconductor AR0820 make sense here because the lens keeps enough resolution for 12MP-class work without pushing distortion too far. If your job is part inspection or OCR, this is the safer starting point than a wider lens.

The lens uses all-glass construction, and the adjustable iris lets you choose between light and depth of field. Stopping down helps when parts do not sit at one fixed height or when the camera has to hold focus across a deeper scene.
