The CIL553 is a 16mm C-mount lens for 1.2" sensors resolving 25MP at 2.74μm pixel pitch. That means sensors like the IMX540 and IMX541. The 19.4mm image circle covers the full 1.2" format, and the all-glass construction handles factory vibration and temperature cycling without much drama.

The CIL553 measures -0.09% from rectilinear. That is close enough to zero that many metrology systems can remove distortion correction from the pipeline entirely. The 62.5° field of view gives you a comfortable working area for PCB inspection, semiconductor packaging, and dimensional measurement. You can check exact coverage at field of view calculator

The manually adjustable iris runs from F/2.8 to F/16, so you can trade light for depth of field as the station demands. You should use F/2.8 for high-speed line scan and low-light setups, and you should stop down to F/8 or F/16 when thicker parts need more depth. Minimum object distance is 125mm, total weight is 128g, and this model does not have front filter threads.

The lens ships as CIL553-F2.8-CMANIR without a filter in C-Mount A configuration. The standard C-mount thread lets it fit directly on machine vision cameras that support the format. It also pairs well with other Commonlands C-mount lenses like the CIL544 at 25mm or the CIL542 at 12mm when one platform needs several focal lengths.
